Who knew it was possible to be part of a food blog and still make the Engine 2 diet work? Yesterday at No. 246 I had Swiss chard and onions without the butter and a strawberry and pistachio salad. At Cakes and Ale I had a double espresso with steamed soy milk and raspberry jam for a sweetener. Amazing!!
Yesterday we started our day in downtown Decatur with lunch at No. 246, a trendy Italian place with a clean, yet industrial feel. The food was traditional and perfect! We started with polenta fritters with a chile sauce and creamy onion soup with creme fraiche and croutons. For the meal we had Angliotti with spring vegetables and a shrimp and breadcrumb spaghetti.
